When I try install TurboV for my mother first and then install but its there the same error
I have also tried a few different versions of Any it would fail and rollback the installation. So I tried installing the latest version of ACPI two files acpi.sys and acpi.inf
driver from Asus's website hoping it would fix the problem.

Cannot Find ACPI DriverI've tried 3 different drivers so far, to the point what I needed. You have to download the SCCM package. Windows Driver Update 'Have Disk' etc., and stil no dice. I found -- which came preloaded with Windows 7 Pro downgrades. Go fresh images of Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, without any of the pre-installed OEM software utiltities.
Windows is up-to-date by the way, also. I did find an older post in to Solution. I have an 'unknwon device' showing up in Device Manager, and the Hardware ID is: ACPILEN4001 - I can't seem to find any good drivers for this.. None of the community, from 2013, but the links were dead. 'Page Not Found' .. I've been trying to get everything sorted out with the drivers for this machine, PLEASE help me? Thanks

All I know is that when my ACPI Lid had an error, it caused my pc to keep on running when I closed the lid(it didn't go to sleep or anything plus my 'Choose what computer does when Lid is closed' option was gone from wins. Solved! Do the same for DelayMan filter.
The driver reinstall restored it back.
ACPI Lid reinstalls by itself after restart and my DelayMan filter came back as an optional choice among the Windows Updates. Hope this helps. Oh and I don't even know what delayman filter actually is. Go to Solution.
Well.right click on ACPI Lid and then choose uninstall the drivers.

My AMD XP 2500 Soyo board (single processor board) under Win2K SP4 is using an ACPI Uniprocessor setup.. A friend of a friend is certain that the problem is the HAL driver, and I'm curious about what the difference between the drivers is. Is it possible that I should switch to the second one to change any issues my computer might be having?
I've been troubleshooting random errors (most of which were resolved when I corrected the jumper settings for the CPU), mostly freezing during bootup or problems with the ATA RAID driver.
is there a difference? If not, what should I be looking for that might be causing the freezing on bootup?

The computer still freezes one out of every 4 bootups while the Windows splash screen is showing, and I have gotten the occasional blue screen ('Driver IRQ not less or equal' the only recurring one).

Windows XP Home
P4 3.0gHz
2GB RAM
10k RPM hard drive
Sound Blaster 5.1 PCI sound card
Latest drivers
3GB page file, only 277MB used
2-4% CPU usage at any given time

Ok, here is the basic situation.. So you may be maxing out your cpu or ram and not know in it.

Any help would be great, as I have a nasty habit of hitting shut-down, and leaving the room, only to find my PC whirring away telling me it's safe to turn off !
